CLASS: ART401 Experimental Drawing / Abstraction
As geometric shapes and patterns have become embedded into the fabric of my work, I have begun to explore its symbolic usage as it relates to the folk art traditions of Navajo and Nordic people. I seek to venture through these passages of culture and time through mapping and layering with mixed media collage techniques. I have felt at home in these shapes and color palettes and I will continue to explore how it will inform my thesis work.
